When Will reached out to me to capture this special moment for him & Sterling I was so excited. He envisioned an epic spot in North Ga to sweep Sterling off her feet! I knew Overlook 55 would be the perfect North Georgia venue for them. When the day finally came, we had no idea what this day would bring because the weather forecast would not stop changing (welcome to Georgia! haha) I texted Will the morning of the proposal to see if he was down to change the time from 7pm to 3:30pm in the afternoon. Never did I think I would ask to shoot at such an unpopular hour as a photographer. BUT, I was counting on the overcast skies and gap of time before it started to rain again. I’m so glad this last minute shift happened because the light could not have been more dreamy and the over look so clear!!!
God really answered prayers that day and I am so thankful to have been there to document it. My job is full of pinch me moments, and this was definitely one of them.
