Before I went full time with wedding photography, I used to work part time in youth ministry where I experienced the deepest of joys leading some of the most incredible students. These kids will forever have such a special place in my heart, every single one of them. Adagia & Brian started dating when I was their leader, and it has been such a blessing to watch their relationship grow and continue to keep Christ at the center. This was the 3rd wedding I photographed this year for one of my past students & I am STILL overwhelmed by how kind God was to allow me to be a part of each one of their special days in this particular way
Documenting such precious moments for people I adore & love is truly one of the sweetest gifts I can ask for in this career Getting to see, squeeze, love on & be loved on by so many familiar faces that I don’t get to see often anymore…has made my cup truly overflow with gratitude/joy.
Not only was this day PRECIOUS to be a part of, it was also just SO much fun for me creatively. Outdoor weddings are some of my absolute favorite & The Hill venue in Athens, Ga provided some of the most stunning outdoor space for a "backyard" & intimate atmosphere. Adagia is an artistic & creative soul and I loved getting to create art out of her love. This day was dreamy, giddy, and full of love. The entire day is what I like to call a “pinch me” moment! So good it almost didn’t feel real!
